Find it.
Carry it. Keep it.
Scavenge physical loot from buildings, roadsides and abandoned vehicles. What fits in your pockets matters as much as what you find.

CONCEPT ART · NOT GAMEPLAYA WORLD THAT GIVES YOU NOTHING

Empty hands. An unforgiving world.
What happens next is up to you.
THE GAME / OVERVIEW
No starting arsenal. No stocked backpack. Just the clothes on your back and a reason to keep moving.
Search the abandoned settlement of Pine Ridge. Find food, water and equipment. Manage your wounds, stay dry, and weigh every shot against what might hear it.
OUTLANDS is an iPhone-first survival game in active development. Public release details will be announced here.
01 / THE SURVIVAL EXPERIENCE
Systems that connect. Decisions that carry weight.
Explore what's taking shape in the current prototype.
Scavenge physical loot from buildings, roadsides and abandoned vehicles. What fits in your pockets matters as much as what you find.
PHYSICAL LOOT / INVENTORY / GEARRain soaks your clothes. Cold drains your strength. Wounds cost blood. Food, water and shelter are part of every journey.
WEATHER / WOUNDS / SURVIVALInfected investigate sounds and pursue what they see. Deer flee. Wolves close in. A loud shot can change your next move.
INFECTED / WILDLIFE / SOUND02 / WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT
Find the right ammunition. Load the compatible magazine.
Chamber a round. Make the shot count.

ASSAULT RIFLE
A modular rifle with compatible optics, muzzle devices and a detachable STANAG magazine.
30 weapons in the current prototype. Separate calibers, magazines, chambers and compatible attachments.
03 / STAY ALIVE
You're managing a body, not just a loadout.
Health and blood are separate. Untreated wounds keep bleeding. Bandages close wounds; injuries affect movement and stamina.
Activity consumes food and water. Carried weight, injuries and your overall condition change how far you can push yourself.
Rain increases wetness and cold exposure. Insulated clothing and shelter help protect you. Illness and medicine are early systems still being developed.

Two different views of a world in development.
Concept artwork is illustrative and does not represent current gameplay. Prototype captures show unfinished art and systems.
05 / DEVELOPMENT JOURNAL
Health and blood, weather exposure, infected perception and wildlife bring new pressure to Pine Ridge.
The latest source milestone connects wounds, medicine, hunger, thirst and wetness to movement and stamina. Infected react to sight and sound; deer flee and wolves attack.
Death leaves carried equipment in the world. Physical corpse loot and basic wildlife harvesting are implemented. Full world saving, cooking, final character art and device performance work remain ahead.
SOURCE MILESTONE — NOT A PUBLIC RELEASE
30 weapons. Compatible ammunition. Distinct magazine families. Physical equipment with a place in the world.
The arsenal overhaul expanded weapon and feed systems with detachable magazines, internal magazines, tubes, clips and belts. Build 19 added 20 distinct magazine and feed visual families.
Inventory, Hands, Quick Slots, drop and pickup preserve the actual state of each item.
